BREEDERS:  BILL AND SALLY DUNN
Our donkeys are bred for conformation and performance.  Our sires have
been chosen carefully, coming from performance and quality backgrounds.
We feel this is important in producing donkeys that can be shown in the ring,
become loving pets and/or and can be driven.

Our senior herd sire, Magnolia's Triple Bonus, is a beautiful light sorrel jack.  His
Grandfather is Stock Market's Cash Dividend - a National and World Champion Jack.
Trip must have a sense of humor because he does really silly things. He is an
extremely loving little fellow as well.  He has just begun his career in performance
    classes in the show arena.

Our junior herd sire, Short and Sweet Black Max, is a beautiful solid black jack with
no light points.  Max sticks his nose in the air for a kiss.  He has been doing well in
the show arena.  He is ready to begin his stud duties.

We are fortunate to have two super jacks that enjoy people and are so loving.

We care for our donkeys as if they are part of our family.  They love
attention.  Donkeys are herd animals and need a  companion.  If you do not plan
on giving them your time and  your affection, our donkeys are not for you.   We
feel these are God's special little creatures and well worth the effort.    We want
to make sure they go to good homes and have a companion in the field with them.

SHORT ASSETS FIESTA
DIED APRIL 19, 2008
SPIRIT OF A MINIATURE DONKEY NAMED FIESTA
FIESTA WAS ALMOST 2 YEARS OLD WHEN SHE GOT COLIC.  IT WAS NOT A SIMPLE
COLIC.  SHE SUFFERED FOR SEVERAL DAYS WHILE WE TRIED EVERY THING POSSIBLE
TO SAVE HER.  FIESTA FOUGHT AS HARD AS I HAVE EVER SEEN AN ANIMAL OR HUMAN
FIGHT FOR LIFE.   WE TOOK HER TO UF WHICH WAS ABOUT A 3 HOUR DRIVE.  DURING
THAT TIME SHE STRUGGLED TO LIVE.  I SAT WITH HER IN THE BACK SEAT OF A VAN.  I
HELD HER IN MY ARMS TALKING AND SINGING .  SHE TRIED SO HARD TO KEEP
STANDING.  SHE FELL AND KEPT STRUGGLING TO GET BACK UP.  i WATCHED HER OVER
AND OVER  STRUGGLING TO HANG ON TO LIFE.  WHILE TALKING TO HER AND HOLDING
HER HEAD I TOLD HER IT WAS TIME TO GO AND NOT TO CONTINUE WITH THE PAIN.  i
SAW A FEW TEARS RUN DOWN HER FACE AS IF SHE WAS TELLING ME - OK BUT I AM
NOT WANTING TO GO..  SHORTLY AFTER WE ARRIVED AT THE UNIVERSITY.,FIESTA LOST
HER BATTLE.  THAT IS THE SPIRIT OF AN AMAZING YOUNG DONKEY NAMED FIESTA
SHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.  SHE WAS WELL LOVED BY CHILDREN, ADULTS AND
HER DONKEY FAMILY.
